I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 15+ years of behavioral health experience and a Master of Social Welfare from UC Berkeley. My clinical background includes extensive OCD work on telehealth platforms and in county behavioral health, where I currently serve as a clinical resource for OCD, facilitate an OCD-specific ERP group, and provide consultation and training to clinicians. This county work is separate from my private practice and is not affiliated with or representative of this listing. I also provide couples therapy as a separate area of practice using the Gottman Method; couples do not need to have OCD or Relationship OCD (ROCD) to work with me. I specialize in OCD treatment using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and provide virtual telehealth throughout California. A graduate of the International OCD Foundation’s Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI), I treat harm OCD, suicide OCD, scrupulosity, sexual themes, relationship-OCD, “Just Right” OCD, and Pure O, as well as other themes. OCD can involve doubt, guilt, shame, disgust, or feeling that something is “not right.” Compulsions may be covert, including mental rituals; rumination, mental reviewing, checking feelings or memories, comparing, researching, confessing, reassurance seeking, and avoidance. I use collaborative, individualized ERP and integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) where appropriate. I also treat co-occurring depression, anxiety, and trauma using CBT, ACT, DBT, Seeking Safety, and Motivational Interviewing.
