Staff specialties include counseling for depression, anxiety, panic, stress, life transitions, perinatal and postnatal, PTSD, trauma, ADHD, ADD, ASD, bipolar disorder, addictions (substance, video game, internet, etc) We work with children of all ages and are trained in play therapy. We also have extensive experience working with teens, adults, professionals, first responders/ military, pastors/ministers, missionaries and third-culture kids, and leadership in non-profit organizations. Attachment focus, cognitive-behavioral, EMDR, EFT, Solution-focused, and DBT approaches are all available. Our clients find our staff kind, patient, supportive, warm, and creative. We assign homework, if that is what a client wants, or we can discuss movies, music, books, sports, games, and more to engage with you and help you feel comfortable connecting with your counselor in the therapy process. This is a very personal relationship, and we are committed to getting to know you and individualizing our approach. Faith is important to our staff. If you want to discuss Scripture, theology or even ways that you have been hurt by the church, we are trained and comfortable discussing these topics and supporting you and your faith in an ethical and integrated perspective. This means our staff use psychology and theology hand in hand, not leaning on either one at the exclusion of the other. If talking about faith is not your preference, we respect that and never push topics on clients. This is your time to have someone focus on you and what your needs are. We are looking forward to getting to know you and learning how we can help you grow.
