Kim is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and has been working in the field of mental health for over 24 years. Kim is passionate about helping people heal and grow, specifically from past trauma, hurt, or pain. Kim desires to help people work through their story as they navigate various obstacles such as anxiety, depression, family/relationship issues, PTSD, ADHD as well as a variety of other challenges. Prior to opening her own private practice, Kim has worked primarily with children, teens, families, as well as women who have experienced abuse and/or trauma. Kim has worked in residential settings with children and teens, has extensive experience working with foster care children and youth, and was the Associate Director at a Child Advocacy Center, providing Forensic Interviews for abuse investigations for over 9 years. Kim has been passionate about the care ministry at her church, addressing trauma, those who have been spiritually wounded, as well as marriage ministry. Kim received her Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. She is licensed in the state of Kentucky since 2008. Kim is also JSO certified, providing assessment for those seeking treatment for juvenile sexual offenses (must be 17 or younger). Kim continues to be passionate about working with these populations and is licensed to provide both in-person and Telehealth therapy sessions for Kentucky residents. She is unable to provide services to those residing in other states at this time. Kim’s private pay fee is $115 per 50-60 minute session. Kim also accepts most insurance plans. Kim has a limited number of sliding scale slots for those who are eligible, this is for private pay clients only.
