Hi, I’m Kim Martin, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I support individuals, teens, young adults, and families who are navigating stress, change, and the complexities of everyday life. My work is grounded in evidence-based, trauma-informed care and shaped by years of experience in community-based child and family services. Above all, I strive to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported as you work toward meaningful, sustainable change. THERAPY SERVICES: I provide individual, family, and adolescent therapy for concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress, life transitions, relational challenges, and the impacts of trauma. My therapeutic approach is collaborative and practical. I integrate modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based strategies, and Motivational Interviewing, tailoring treatment to your goals, strengths, and lived experience. Together, we focus on building insight and developing tools you can use in daily life. I have particular experience working with teens and caregivers, supporting families through developmental transitions, school-related stress, changes in family dynamics, and planning for next stages of life. COACHING SERVICES (Separate from Therapy): In addition to psychotherapy, I offer coaching services that are separate from therapy and do not involve mental health diagnosis or treatment. PARENT COACHING: Parent coaching is a skills-based, supportive service for caregivers who want practical guidance around communication, boundaries, routines, and understanding their child or teen’s development. Coaching focuses on strengthening confidence and alignment with your values as a parent. HEALTH AND WELL-BEING COACHING for Youth and Young Adults: Health and Well-Being Coaching supports youth and young adults who may struggle with executive functioning, organization, planning, task initiation, learning differences, or navigating transitions related to school, work, independence, or identity. This coaching focuses on: Goal-setting and future planning Building sustainable routines Managing stress and overwhelm Supporting overall well-being and functioning Coaching is non-clinical and is not a substitute for therapy. HOW WE CAN MEET: I offer therapy primarily via telehealth. For local clients, in-home sessions may be available, particularly when working with younger children. Coaching services are offered via telehealth. I provide a free initial consultation to help determine fit and discuss whether therapy or coaching is the best support for your needs.
