As a Co-Founder, Kimberly Walker is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C, LICSW) with a specialty in children and teens; I am dedicated to helping young people overcome challenges and thrive in all aspects of their lives. With over 13 years of experience in the field of mental health, I have worked with children and adolescents struggling with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral problems, self esteem, motivation, identity, and more. My approach to therapy is warm, compassionate, and developmentally appropriate. I understand that our youth have unique needs and experiences, and I work collaboratively with each individual and their families to develop a treatment plan that is tailored to their specific needs and goals. I utilize eclectic evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) to help young clients build resilience, develop coping skills, increase self esteem, and improve their overall well-being. I believe that therapy is a powerful tool for helping young people navigate the challenges of adolescence and build a strong foundation for their future. Whether your child is struggling with a specific issue or simply seeking support and guidance, I am here to help them achieve their goals and reach their full potential.
