Introduction

Hi, I’m Kira, an LPC intern at Brazen Therapy and a Master of Counseling student at Arizona State University, working under the supervision of a licensed LPC. I came to this work through both my training and my lived experience, especially as an adoptee and a parent who has navigated early medical stress, which shaped my deep interest in identity, belonging, and how relationships influence how we see ourselves. I’m especially drawn to working with people who struggle with self-worth, fear of being left, or feeling unsure in their relationships. My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and attachment-based, with attention to how past experiences and family dynamics show up in the present. I’m open to working with children, teens, adults, and couples, and I value creating a space that feels safe, thoughtful, and genuinely human. My hope is that therapy with me feels like a safe space where you can slow down, feel understood, and start making sense of what you’re carrying because you deserve support as you grow, heal, and find your way forward.
