Introduction

Hi! I am glad you're here. My name is Kirbie Thomas, and I am a master’s level Clinical Mental Health Counseling intern. My highest level of education is a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Baylor University in 2022. I decided to pursue a career in counseling because of my intense passion for believing in the potential of others. People seek therapy for all different reasons, and the therapeutic approaches and interventions used will vary to accommodate individual needs and desires. As we get to know one another, our therapeutic relationships will evolve and change. The hope is that with your participation and dedicated work, you will take steps towards your long-term therapy goals. My role is to help you establish realistic and specific goals to help you increase satisfaction in your life. In my graduate education, I have dedicated my time to continual professional development.
