Introduction

Hi, I'm Kirsten! I'm passionate about creating a supportive space where young people feel understood, respected, and safe to be themselves. I'm a provisionally licensed counselor with a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology. I currently have over two years of experience working with traumatized children in a local inpatient psychiatric facility, and will soon be pursuing an additional certification in play therapy. Inside every child there is a story that needs to be told. This truth is the heart of my work. I aim to be the place where those stories can unfold softly, safely, and in their own rhythm. I strive to honor the inner worlds of young people, helping them give shape to their feelings and experiences, and rediscover the strength that's already within them. My approach blends curiosity, compassion, and play, creating spaces where healing feels possible and every child's story is met with respect and wonder. I would be honored to walk alongside your child or teen as they grow, heal, and discover their own strengths.
