I believe that self-compassion is a core survival skill. One of the greatest gifts you can offer yourself is the gift of love, grace, and gentleness. In a world that breeds insecurity and harm, my role is to support clients in deepening their awareness of the emotional wounds and current life challenges that hinder their access to self-compassion — whether they are overcoming difficult life transitions, healing after a breakup, navigating parenthood/motherhood, experiencing dating or self-esteem issues, exploring spirituality, adolescent life concerns, or childhood/family-of-origin dynamics. I work with individuals, couples, and families, with a deep passion and emphasis on serving Black & Brown communities. I integrate a variety of therapy frameworks, including Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Inner Child work, and Mindfulness/Holistic practices - rooted in anti-oppression, healing justice, LGBTQ+ affirming perspectives. With a gentle and warm presence, it is my goal as a therapist to have my clients feel seen, heard, and affirmed as they work towards self-improvement and healthier relationships. I prioritize collaboration with clients, centering their therapeutic needs and preferences to make therapy accessible, effective, and tailored to their unique goals.
