Introduction

Trauma can shape how we see ourselves, connect with others, and experience the world. Its effects aren't always obvious. Sometimes they show up as anxiety, shame, difficulty trusting others, emotional disconnection, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve us. Whether your experiences involve childhood trauma, abuse, sexual violence, relationship trauma, or other painful events, you deserve a space where your experiences are understood without judgment. I'm a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) specializing in trauma therapy, EMDR, and sex therapy. I work with adults navigating PTSD, complex trauma, anxiety, shame, relationship difficulties, and the lasting effects of overwhelming experiences. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I believe meaningful therapy involves more than addressing symptoms; it's also about understanding how your experiences have shaped you and finding ways to move forward that feel authentic to you. I have a particular interest in helping individuals navigate the intersection of trauma, sexuality, and intimacy. Trauma can affect how we experience our bodies, desire, pleasure, boundaries, and relationships. I provide a sex-positive, nonjudgmental space to explore these concerns, whether you're working toward reconnecting with your body, reclaiming pleasure, or developing a greater sense of safety and autonomy in your relationships. My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming, kink/BDSM-aware, and welcoming of individuals in consensually non-monogamous and polyamorous relationships. I recognize that identity, sexuality, and relationships are deeply personal, and I believe therapy should honor your experiences and values rather than impose expectations about how you should live. I draw from EMDR, cognitive behavioral approaches, and other trauma-informed interventions, tailoring treatment to each person's needs and goals. I value authenticity, curiosity, humor, and building a therapeutic relationship where you can feel comfortable exploring even the most difficult experiences. Healing doesn't mean erasing the past or becoming someone else. It's about developing a different relationship with your experiences, reconnecting with yourself, and creating a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Washington (License# SWI.LW.61628913)
