Kristal Kinsey, LCSW, brings extensive experience and expertise to Aday at a Time Therapy Services, LLC. With a strong foundation in social work, she earned her bachelor’s degree from Austin Peay State University and her master’s degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Throughout her career, Kristal has worked with adolescents and adults, providing compassionate, evidence-based support for a range of mental health concerns. She is dedicated to helping clients create meaningful and lasting change in their lives through a collaborative and strengths-based approach. Kristal is highly trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), among other modalities. She integrates trauma-informed care into her practice, tailoring treatment to meet the unique needs of each client. Her expertise includes working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, and other challenges. As the dedicated telehealth provider for Aday at a Time Therapy Services, Kristal offers accessible and effective virtual therapy. She periodically returns to Alaska to foster connection and rapport through in-person sessions. With her deep understanding of teletherapy, she ensures clients receive the full benefits of treatment, no matter where they are. Outside of her professional life, Kristal is an Army wife, which gives her a unique understanding of military life and culture. This perspective allows her to connect with service members, veterans, and their families in a meaningful way. Kristal finds balance and renewal in the great outdoors. She and her husband, along with their two beloved dogs, enjoy fishing, hiking, and camping in the breathtaking landscapes around them. Her love for nature and adventure informs her therapeutic work, as she helps clients cultivate resilience, balance, and personal growth.
