I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor, Certified Revisioning Practitioner, and EMDR-trained therapist in North Texas. I specialize in working with individuals seeking relief from single-incident trauma, complex and developmental trauma, traumatic grief, and other overwhelming or wounding life experiences. My work is deeply trauma-focused and informed by a careful understanding of dissociation and neuroplasticity, allowing for targeted, attuned interventions that support meaningful and lasting change. I also work with individuals who are seeking deeper self-understanding and a more meaningful way of existing, creating a felt sense of safety within themselves, and expanding beyond survival patterns into their desired potential. I bring a steady, attuned, and non-pathologizing presence to this work. I am attentive to pacing, to what is happening beneath the surface, and to the importance of not overwhelming a system that has already experienced too much. I am committed to providing care that is anti-racist, inclusive, and affirming of all identities. I recognize that trauma does not occur in isolation, and I hold awareness of systemic oppression, cultural context, and intergenerational patterns as essential parts of the therapeutic process. I work primarily with adults and offer both standard sessions and extended or intensive options for deeper, focused work. Revisioning Psychotherapy Revisioning Rapid Mirror Neuron Therapy, developed by Dr. Mark Rider and Dr. Lynn Heselton, is a neuroscience-informed, experiential therapy designed to support the resolution of childhood-onset and adult-onset trauma, traumatic grief, and all levels of dissociation including Dissociative Identity Disorder. Revisioning is a gentle, experiential approach that uses images, a mirror, and guided imagery to support connections within the brain and nervous system, promoting integration and resolution of trauma-related symptoms. EMDR Therapy Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a neuroscience-informed therapy developed by Dr. Francine Shapiro for the treatment of trauma and distressing life experiences. EMDR works by engaging the brain’s natural information processing system through bilateral stimulation, such as guided eye movements, tapping, or auditory cues. This process supports the integration of memories that continue to trigger emotional distress, negative beliefs, and nervous system activation. EMDR helps the brain reprocess these experiences so they can be stored in a more adaptive way, reducing their intensity and impact.
