Starting (or restarting) therapy can be an intimidating process, but the most important part is finding a therapist who is the right fit for you. I prefer to spend the first couple sessions getting to know you and your goals before diving into the “work” of therapy. Therapy can be beneficial for everyone, whether it is to work through a life change, manage intense emotions, process trauma, or develop more ways to navigate the challenges of everyday life. My goal is to support you and provide guidance as you work toward your goals. I can help you to learn coping skills and interpersonal skills to apply to many areas of your life. I have experience helping clients to process trauma, improve relationships/communication, learn to manage mood disorders, anxiety, intense anger, and adjust to life changes as well as just better manage day to day emotions which can often feel overwhelming. Having spent my life competing in horseback riding, I can also help to apply this knowledge to sports. I have over a decade of experience working with adolescents and adults in a variety of settings. I believe in tailoring my therapeutic approach to best suit the needs of the client and taking the time to work with you as you work to make beneficial changes to improve your life. I look forward to working with you to address your goals!
