I've always been drawn to the stories people carry with them — the pain, the resilience, the parts of life that are hard to put into words. After unexpectedly losing my husband, I felt a deepening in my capacity for empathy and compassion, and I felt God calling me into counseling as a way to serve Him and love people well. I work with adults, adolescents, couples, and first responders, supporting people through relationship challenges and disconnection, grief and loss, anxiety that interferes with daily life, and depression that follows major loss or hard circumstances. My approach is rooted in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), especially in my work with couples, along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and trauma-informed care. I believe in therapy as a true partnership — you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to help you recognize your strengths while building tools for lasting change.
