Introduction

Are you looking for a no-bullshit therapist who will be authentic and real with you? Are you looking for a therapist with experience and comfort working with neurodivergent, gender-expansive, queer, and kink- and ENM/polyamory-identified folks — people who exist outside "the norm" and are tired of therapists who don't get it? Are you exhausted trying to maintain a "normal" life while everything about the world (and maybe your own brain and body) feels anything but normal? Are you living with chronic illness or chronic pain and tired of explaining yourself? Are you dealing with anxiety or depression that's keeping you from actually enjoying your life? Are you feeling alone, misunderstood, or just plain confused? Are you ready to work on self-esteem, self-trust, and actually liking yourself? Are you ready for something different? My name is Kristie, and I'm The Sweary Therapist. I do therapy differently: trauma-informed, attachment-focused work that blends parts work, mindfulness, somatic tools, and CBT, built around who you actually are instead of who you're "supposed" to be. My work focuses on supporting neurodivergent (especially late-diagnosed and high-masking), queer and gender-expansive, chronically ill, and kink- and ENM/polyamory-clients. Nothing about who you love, how you love, or how your brain works needs to be explained away or hidden here. As your therapist, I promise to always be authentic and genuine — and for me, that includes dropping the occasional f-bomb and getting into the real shit with my clients. You're free to express yourself however feels true to you here. Cuss if you want. Don't if that's not your thing. Either way, you get to show up as your full, messy, real self. If this is resonating with you, let's talk. Schedule a free 15-minute video consultation and let's see if we're a good match.
