Hello, I’m Kristin McGrady, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have been working in the mental health field for over 15 years, beginning my career as a psychiatric nurse and continuing to grow into my role as a nurse practitioner. My background includes extensive experience in community mental health and substance use treatment, where I have developed a strong passion for helping individuals navigate complex emotional and behavioral challenges. I specialize in medication management and psychotherapy for individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, and substance use disorders. I take a patient-centered and collaborative approach to care, recognizing that each person’s experience is unique. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered in your treatment. I believe that meaningful change happens when patients feel both supported and informed. I focus on helping you better understand your symptoms, explore treatment options, and develop practical strategies that improve your day-to-day functioning and overall quality of life. Whether you are starting treatment for the first time or looking to make adjustments to your current care, I am here to work alongside you every step of the way.
