I believe therapy begins with shared presence — grounded in safety, authenticity, and collaboration. My hope is that within this space, you can slow down, reflect, and begin to make sense of your experiences in a way that feels right for you. My approach weaves together art therapy, mindfulness, and body-based awareness to support a deeper understanding of yourself and the world around you. Sometimes words alone can’t capture what we’re feeling — creative or somatic practices can offer another language for expression, helping us stay present and connected to what’s true in the moment. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in both Virginia and Washington, DC, and a Registered and Board Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC). I work from a trauma-informed, person-centered lens, guided by curiosity and care. My practice is inclusive and affirming of all identities and experiences, and I hold a certificate in therapy for the transgender community. I strive to create a space where people of all backgrounds can feel grounded, respected, and supported in their process. In addition to my clinical work, I provide clinical supervision toward licensure for LPC residents and art therapy credentialing, supporting emerging clinicians as they develop their own grounded, authentic style. At its core, my work is about connection — to yourself, within your relationships, and to the world around you.
