Hi, I’m Kristina Hill, a Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT). From a young age, I’ve believed deeply in the power and importance of families. Our families shape who we are, how we relate to the world, and how we grow. That belief—paired with a natural desire to connect with others and understand their stories, led me to the field of marriage and family therapy. I’m a proud mother of five and spent 16 years as part of a military family, which gave me firsthand insight into the unique challenges and resilience required to navigate deployments, transitions, and the demands of military life. For five of those years, I worked as a family advocate and liaison, supporting military families through their own journeys. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marriage and Family Studies and a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling. My passion lies in helping individuals, couples, and families build strong, meaningful, and lasting relationships. I approach therapy with warmth, empathy, and deep respect for each person’s unique story. I work through a systemic and relational lens, helping clients identify unhelpful patterns, clarify their goals, and build healthier ways of relating. I draw from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Bowen Family Systems Theory, Narrative Therapy, and the Gottman Method (Levels 1 and 2). Whether you’re navigating conflict, mental health challenges, parenting struggles, or major life transitions, I provide a supportive space to explore, heal, and grow. I especially enjoy working with couples to strengthen their emotional connection, improve communication, and foster long-term resilience.
