Introduction

Hello. I delight in helping disconnected couples and adults ready to heal their trauma. After working with me, you will be better able to notice and 'be with' your parts (such noticing and dialoging inside to help a tense and anxious part of yourself), rather than 'being' your parts (such as remaining or becoming even more tense and anxious). You are then able to react less -- and to respond more -- with calm, confidence, clarity, compassion, courage, connection, curiosity, and creativity. I am IFS Institute trained in Level 1, Level 2, & Level 3, as well as IFIO (the intimate partners/couples version of IFS), Nonviolent Communication, I have completed postdoctoral coursework at the C. G. Jung Institute in NYC, and I have served as an IFS Level 1 Program Assistant to help other therapists learn IFS. I offer IFS individual therapy and IFIO couples therapy telehealth appointments, as well as in person appointments in New Haven, CT. I also offer Concierge IFS individual therapy and Concierge IFIO couples therapy for same or next day therapy appointments, which includes after hours therapy and weekend therapy. A little about me. I'm an able-bodied cisgender white person, I am working to be more conscious of my privilege, and to use it to help make the world better for everyone. My ancestors came to the United States from Europe and the Middle East. I identify as a woman, a feminist, a lesbian and a queer person, someone who is now situated in the middle class, and who became a parent in midlife. I live on the sacred, yet unceded, land of the Quinnipiac people in New Haven, CT, US. I am working to better understand the marginalizations of others, and I hope to be considered an ally. In addition to work, I'm fond of being with family and friends, wheeling around on with my bicycle, and devouring detective novels. In our initial session, I will be determining your needs to see if and how I can help. If we aren't able to work together, a directory of other IFS therapists and IFS practitioners is available at: https://ifs-institute.com/practitioners
