My journey into becoming a therapist started with my own experience in therapy as a college student-athlete. Being on the other side of the therapy room showed me how valuable it can be to have someone who listens without judgment and helps you better understand yourself. That experience continues to shape the way I approach my work today. I primarily work from a psychodynamic and attachment-based perspective, which means we explore how past experiences and important relationships influence the way you think, feel, and respond today. I believe that understanding these patterns can lead to meaningful, lasting change. As my career has grown, my background in sports has naturally led me to enjoy working with athletes who are navigating performance pressure, identity, confidence, injuries, or life transitions. I've also completed specialized training through the Society for the Advancement of Sexual Health (SASH) in treating problematic sexual behaviors and pornography addiction.
