Introduction

Do you ever feel like you’re doing everything you’re “supposed” to do, yet still feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of where you fit? Maybe you’re functioning on the outside while internally you feel exhausted, stuck, or caught in patterns you don’t quite know how to change. It can be easy to go through the motions of life’s responsibilities while feeling emotionally exhausted. Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable people who know what matters to them, but feel caught in patterns that keep them from moving forward. I believe therapy is a place where you should feel genuinely heard, understood, and respected. My goal isn’t to change who you are or tell you who you should be. Instead, I want to help you understand yourself more deeply—your thoughts, emotions, patterns, relationships, and values—so you can begin making choices that feel more intentional and aligned with the person you want to become. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and attachment-based therapies, while incorporating creative, experiential, and somatic strategies when they fit your needs. I’m particularly passionate about helping clients navigate anxiety, perfectionism, identity and life transitions, grief and loss, and the feeling of being stuck between who you’ve been and who you’re becoming. In addition to my work with adults, I am passionate about supporting parents navigating the complexities of raising a family and utilize play therapy to help children process emotions in a way that is developmentally natural to them. Whether we are exploring existential questions of identity or practicing concrete tools for anxiety and depression, my goal is to help you build healthy cycles that replace self-doubt and discouragement. Outside of the office, I find balance through embroidery, watercolor painting, and spending restorative time with my family and our two dogs, Archer and Ziggy. They remind me often of the importance of slowing down, staying present, and making room for creativity and play.
