People usually seek out therapy because of symptoms or behaviors, so an early goal is to support developing the skills toward a reduction in symptoms/ behavior. I’m also interested in history, development and relationships to best understand patterns and help with insight for long-term change. Models such as Parent-Child Interactional Therapy, Circle of Security, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy, are tailored to the needs of you / your child / your family. I strive to make therapy practical and meaningful. This often means there is something to try, practice between sessions for symptom/ behavioral change. I take a supportive and curious approach to my work and most people really enjoy the experience.
