Introduction

I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 25 years experience supporting a variety of individuals, schools and non-profit organizations in Oregon. Therapy has been an important part of my own healing journey, and I view it as a collaborative relationship and safe container for growth and transformation. As a strengths-based, client-centered therapist, I believe therapy is about developing self-trust, accessing your personal power and strengthening your relationship to yourself. I operate from a holistic approach that incorporates body, mind, and emotional healing. I offer attuned, experienced and trauma-informed support for your personal journey and goals. I come from a systems theory background, weaving mindfulness, creativity, and psychoeducation into a humanistic framework that meets people where they are at. My specialties include navigating transitions, strengthening positive self-identity and values, developing and practicing self-compassion, healing from trauma and abuse, self-care, body neutrality and self-acceptance. I often support those who struggle with anxiety, depression, compulsions and addictions, neurodivergence, and emotional regulation. I weave different approaches to support each unique individual. I utilize Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Art Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy for Trauma, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems work, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
