Introduction

My love for humans led me here—first as a seeker, then as a storyteller, and now as a therapist. Before earning my master’s in Marriage & Family Therapy and launching Power Haven, I spent more than a decade as a journalist for leading women’s media, from Oprah.com to Marie Claire, poring over studies and interviewing mental health experts on topics ranging from marital intimacy and friendship to self-discovery. But eventually, I wanted to go beyond illuminating emotional and relational wellness; I wanted to midwife it. Having walked many of the roads my clients travel, I’ve lived the divide between a trauma-driven and a trauma-informed life. I believe our greatest gifts often lurk within our deepest dysfunctions—sacred invitations I carry with me into every client session. As a therapist, I'll teach you how become your most reliable source of confidence, courage, clarity, wisdom, and beyond. This is not about fixing you, per se, but about the sweet release of long-held burdens while remembering the origin of your wholeness. It's a sacred experience that guides you back home to yourself, reauthors your self-concept and space within the world, and allows you to vividly see that you're the one you've been waiting for. In doing so, one's relationships of every kind dramatically improve. While I'm trained to treat a variety of ages, populations, and ailments, including couples and families, I specialize in the emotional, mental, and relational aspects of women's health, vitality, and empowerment. This includes, but is not limited to, issues related to postpartum, motherhood and co-parenting, relationship trauma, chronic illness, codependence, self-esteem, personal fulfillment, and beyond. Whether you're heartbroken over the loss of a precious relationship you swore would last forever, a new mom wondering, "Now that my baby is here, who am I?" or panged with sudden health challenges after years of disappearing behind the needs and demands of others, I can help. And I'd be delighted to.
