Introduction

Laci is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervision endorsement through the Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapist board. She holds a Master’s of Education degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling from Ohio University. Since 2010 she has worked in a variety of settings providing services to children, adolescents, adults, parents, family systems, and athletes. Her clinical practice is specifically dedicated to helping clients navigate various challenges in life including those caused by symptoms of anxiety, depression, grief/loss, and trauma. Laci uses both strength-based and skills-based treatment approaches in her eclectic style of counseling with her clients to improve quality of life and interpersonal relationships. She enjoys creating a safe and open environment to facilitate change and help her clients reflect, learn, and grow. Laci has had specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Intensive Home-Based Treatment (IHBT), and has completed the Fundamentals and Intensive trainings of the Trauma-Focused Equine Assisted Psychotherapy through Natural Lifemanship.
