I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in New York, working primarily with queer and trans adults, as well as people navigating questions of identity, desire, spirituality, and religious trauma. I came to this work through a background in theology and spiritual leadership, where I became deeply interested in how people make meaning of suffering, change, and becoming oneself. Over time, that curiosity moved from the pulpit to the therapy room, where I now help clients slow down, listen inwardly, and make sense of the patterns shaping their lives. My work is psychoanalytically informed and relational. Rather than rushing to fix symptoms, I’m interested in understanding what they’re communicating. Together, we explore how past relationships, internal conflicts, and unspoken desires show up in the present—often in ways that feel confusing, painful, or repetitive. Therapy becomes a space where these patterns can be named, felt, and gradually transformed. I work best with clients who are curious about themselves, willing to reflect deeply, and interested in more than surface-level coping strategies. My goal is to help you develop a fuller, more compassionate relationship with yourself—and to live with greater freedom, integrity, and aliveness.
