Hi! I am Lara, I was born in Mexico City and raised in a small town about 40 minutes away called Cuernavaca, its meaning is “the place of eternal spring”. Ever since I can remember I wanted to study psychology. I have always been so interested in the human psyche and feel a deep interest in knowing why people act, feel and think the way they do. And listening to people’s stories has always been one of the most interesting things I could do. I studied psychology in Mexico City and then continued on to do a masters degree in Psychoanalysis. Shortly after, my husband and I moved to Florida where I pursued another masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2017 and have seen people with different issues since then. I have worked with people through all walks of life and in different settings, from community homes, to psychiatric hospitals and prisons but my true love is in private practice helping moms become the best version of themselves. I am a mom of 3 kiddos and a funky mini Bernedoodle. On my free time I enjoy CrossFit, running and cooking.
