Collaborative, compassionate, and non-judgmental — Lara is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern (RMHCI) working through a trauma-informed, person-centered lens. She draws on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients navigate life's challenges in a way that feels authentic to them. "Therapy can be a safe space to slow down, make sense of what you're carrying, and practice showing up for yourself in new ways. Maybe you're navigating a major life transition, coping with grief, or adjusting to changes brought on by illness, disability, or aging — for yourself or someone you love. Perhaps you're managing anxiety, depression, or low self-esteem, or looking for support with ADHD or ASD. Wherever you are, I will meet you there."
