Welcome—I’m Dr. LaTonya Wilburn, Ph.D., LMSW. With two decades of professional experience in community mental health, schools, and healthcare, I provide person-centered counseling for individuals, couples, and families facing life's complex challenges. I use specialized, neuro-affirming support tailored for individuals receiving a late-in-life autism diagnosis, as well as neurodivergent women, children, and adolescents. I provide marital and relationship skill-building for couples struggling in their marriage through practical counseling, as well as use of the Gottman Method principles to foster deep connection, resolve conflict, and build lasting relationship skills. I provide compassionate, evidence-based care for those processing loss, managing mood disorders, or healing from trauma. By tailoring our work to your specific sensory needs and neural pathways, using a blend of CBT, DBT, ACT, and somatic/mindfulness techniques, we focus on concrete skill-building. My mission is simple - to empower you to manage sensory overload; develop lifelong regulation skills; provide a restorative foundation where you can unmask, and process past wounds; and step into your complete T.R.U.T.H. (Trauma-informed, Restorative, Unmasking, Transformative, Healing).
