As a clinical and forensic social worker, and lifelong advocate for justice and collective healing in the South, I bring a deeply rooted, culturally grounded, and compassionate lens to therapy. Whether you're navigating burnout, grief, trauma, identity shifts, or simply seeking a space to feel seen and heard — you don’t have to do it alone. I work with children, adults, and families, creating supportive and affirming spaces where everyone can feel safe, valued, and empowered. I help children make sense of big emotions, build coping skills, and navigate difficult experiences, while also supporting caregivers in fostering nurturing, connected relationships. Whether we’re working through school-related challenges, trauma, or family transitions, I center healing, trust, and growth. I am honored to support people across the lifespan, including elders processing life transitions, grief, or isolation, and sex workers seeking a judgment-free space to unpack their experiences, strengthen boundaries, or heal from trauma. My practice is rooted in harm reduction, dignity, and care — honoring people exactly where they are, without shame or stigma. I believe therapy should feel like a soft landing — a space where you can breathe, reflect, and reconnect with your power. I work especially well with Black women, caregivers, community leaders, and those who are used to being the “strong one.” Together, we explore what rest, joy, and real healing can look like for you, in a world that too often demands your survival over your thriving. As a therapist at Home Away from Home Therapeutic Center (HAHTC), I’m honored to walk beside individuals and families as they rediscover their strength, reclaim their stories, and find comfort in being themselves — fully and without apology. We are a compassionate team offering support, guidance, and tools tailored to your life. HAHTC is committed to creating a nonjudgmental and supportive environment where growth is not only possible — it’s expected. Let’s do the work, but let’s do it with care, humor, history, and heart. You — and our children and elders — deserve a life that feels whole, connected, and truly your own.
