As a licensed clinical therapist and international psychologist with 15 years of experience, I work with individual adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and fertility-related matters. I view therapeutic relationships as collaborative while still recognizing the journey is yours. I use a collaborative approach in therapy and treatment planning/goal-setting with a balance of directness and warmth. Each person is unique, thus each therapeutic approach must reflect the individual. Typically, I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered, and solution-focused approaches. We discuss complex and difficult matters while also finding balance, clarity, a little humor, and of course, the self. In therapy, we explore the root of the concerns to find ways to cope. While exploring concerns in life, this will more than likely bring up uncomfortable emotions and that is just part of the process. Discomfort, however, is needed sometimes because it helps us all to grow. I will make space for you to go deeper into these areas, and although I will challenge you, I will never force anything.
