I know what it feels like to carry weight you were never meant to bear alone. As a counselor with a decade of experience, I've dedicated my career to helping Black men and women process trauma, anxiety, and depression—and to reconnect with themselves beyond survival mode. My approach recognizes that your experiences don't exist in isolation; culture, family, identity, and the specific realities of navigating the world as a Black person all shape how you understand yourself and cope. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative, Behavioral, and Reality Therapy, we'll explore how your past has influenced your patterns, identify survival strategies that no longer serve you, and build healthier ways of managing emotions and relationships. I work with teenagers, young adults, and adults—both individually and with couples—via telehealth. I accept Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna Healthcare, Evernorth EAP, Humana, and Medicaid. You don't have to stay stuck. I'm currently accepting new clients and ready to walk with you toward healing.
