I believe that sometimes life doesn’t turn out the way we expected—and that doesn’t mean that we’ve failed. Sometimes we simply need a safe place to breathe, make sense of our experience, and figure out where we want to go next. Before becoming a counselor, I spent over 20 years working with children, teens, and families in public and private schools. Those years taught me something I carry with me into counseling: many times, what we need most is someone willing to slow down, listen, and truly see us. Today, I feel incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to walk alongside people during some of the most difficult—and often times the most transformative—seasons of their lives. I work with children and adults experiencing grief/loss, addiction/recovery, childhood trauma, life transitions, parenting and relationship challenges, ADHD, depression, bipolar disorder and more. My therapeutic approach incorporates a variety of evidence-informed techniques, including DBT, Person-Centered, IFS, mindfulness, art therapy, and other therapeutic strategies. I believe counseling should be flexible and individualized, adapting to what feels most meaningful and effective for each person, and I am committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and affirming space. Whether you are working through a loss, healing from past experiences, navigating mental health challenges, rebuilding your life in recovery, or simply feeling ready for change, we will figure it out, together.
