Introduction

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been providing therapy services in Community Mental Health for the past 17 years, including 9 years of providing crisis intervention for children and teens. I have experience working with emotional and behavioral challenges with children as well as presenting problems of depression, anxiety, and PTSD with clients of all ages. My goal is to collaborate with you in finding the therapy approach that best works for you. I am client centered, compassionate and passionate about helping you to make change. I have a calm presence and as a trauma informed therapist my primary goal is to build safety in our relationship and work together. I tailor therapy to your needs and aim for a collaborative approach. As such, I use a range of approaches including techniques from DBT, Solution Focused therapy, Play Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Polyvagal theory. I specialize in trauma therapy, teaching emotional regulation to children (and parents), supporting those with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and providing LGBTQ+ affirming care. I look forward to working with you to help make meaningful changes together.
