Hi there! I know the world can feel complicated and lonely sometimes. I became a counselor because I want to help people rediscover hope and remind you that you're not alone. I'm glad you're here! It takes a lot of courage to seek out counseling and you took the first step. Are you feeling anxious or depressed, like life just keeps taking unexpected turns? Have recent life changes made it feel hard like it's hard to keep up? Maybe you just feel overwhelmed by the day to day and need someone to talk to, who can help make sense of it all? I have worked with people with varied needs and circumstances, but one thing remains true about us all. We need to feel seen, heard, and cared for right where we are. Whether you're seeking resources, coping strategies, or emotional support, I would be honored to walk alongside you on this journey. I offer virtual therapy to adults facing various challenges, including life transitions, parenting, depression, anxiety, trauma, and loss. I'm trained in EMDR, and have received additional training in trauma, child development, perinatal mental health, and recently began training to treat OCD with Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). I've had the privilege of walking with many NICU families and parents whose children have chronic medical conditions and food allergies. I've also worked with the foster and adoption community for 12 years and currently write home studies for adoptive and foster families. If you're a NICU parent, medical, allergy, or foster or adoptive parent, I'd be honored to help you process the unique demands in your season of life. I am a Christian and we can integrate Christian principles into our sessions if that is something you desire, but I welcome and work with people from all faith backgrounds. Regardless of your spiritual beliefs, I’m committed to providing compassionate care tailored to your individual needs.
