Motivation: I chose counseling as my vocation because I greatly desire to see people change and grow. Besides years of training and practice, I have decades of life experience transcending my own personal experiences of trauma and life challenges—both internal and circumstantial. This synthesis of professional and individual maturity definitively informs my practice in NYC, NJ & CT. Dual Licensure: I have dual licensures as both a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Mental Health Therapist (LPC). This integrative perspective informs my clinical capacity working with individuals and couples. Also, I realize that the social systems from which we are embedded may have a profound impact on our identity formation and wellbeing. Faith-based Option: I deeply respect the spiritual journey of all people and I counsel folks from various faith persuasions as well as those not connected to any spiritual tradition. If you’re wanting to integrate a Christian approach with clinical therapy, we can do so. If you are in the process of deconstructing your Christian faith journey, this is a safe space to explore and consider the implications and beliefs that have shaped you.
