Living with ADHD as an adult can feel overwhelming and exhausting. You may struggle with focus, procrastination, emotion regulation, or follow-through, and find yourself feeling frustrated or discouraged without fully understanding why everyday tasks feel so hard. Adults with ADHD often seek therapy for challenges such as feeling overwhelmed, having difficulty starting or finishing tasks, procrastination followed by guilt, emotional sensitivity, and even self-esteem issues. While ADHD is a primary focus, I also enjoy working with a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationships, addiction, and more. I have over 4 years of experience working with men with substance use and mental health issues. I have one year of experience working in community mental health, helping adults with a broad range of issues, such as schizophrenia, borderline personality disorder, and relationship issues. I specialize in working with adults with ADHD, including those diagnosed later in life. My approach focuses on helping you better understand how your brain works and finding strategies that fit you. I use a blend of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and existential therapy. My therapeutic style is warm, supportive, and adaptable. I value client feedback and believe that if something isn't working, we can adjust together. When appropriate, I also incorporate humor into sessions. It's okay if you're not sure where to start. Therapy is a place where we can make sense of things together.
