I started my career in emergency behavioral health, supporting people in hospitals, community settings, and their own homes. Those years taught me that people are often doing their best while carrying a lot, and that real change grows from feeling understood. I wanted to be part of the steadier work that follows: healing, growth, and building a life that feels good to live. I’m an introverted extrovert, which means I’m quiet at first and fully open once I’m comfortable. In session, I listen closely, stay curious, and keep things warm and conversational, with a little humor when it fits. Think of it as a calm, welcoming space where you can simply be yourself. I work with children (7+), teens, adults, seniors, and couples. My focus areas include trauma and PTSD, adverse childhood experiences, healing from emotional abuse, anxiety, depression, co-occurring substance use, autism, chronic illness, LGBTQIA+ concerns, and big life or career transitions. I draw on trauma-informed care, CBT, ACT, mindfulness, and strength-based approaches, and I tailor them to you. My goal is for you to walk away from therapy with more self-awareness, healthier ways of coping, and the confidence that you can handle life’s challenges on your own terms.
