I'm Laurel Layher, and I've spent a long time sitting beside people in pain. Lighthouse Counseling Center is for the person who feels trapped, the one who can't say "no", or the "yes" they want to say, or the truth they have been carrying alone, and who has begun to believe that no one will really hear them. That feeling doesn't have an age. I've seen it in teenagers, in a tired mom, in someone standing at the edge of a hard change. Here, we help you move from trapped to free, from alone to connected. We are a Christian, faith-based practice, and we say so plainly, because I believe healing is found in connection, with people who truly see you and with God, who has never stopped reaching for you. You won't have to translate yourself or wonder whether it's safe to be fully known. Wherever you are in life or whoever you are, you are welcome here.
