Introduction

Hi, I’m Lauren Abbott, LMFT and founder of Unstuck Therapy. Maybe you’ve been here before, scrolling through therapist profiles and wondering if any of them actually feel like someone you could see yourself talking to. I’ve been there too, and that’s part of why I wanted Unstuck Therapy to feel a little different. Maybe you feel stuck, unlike yourself, or like something that happened a long time ago, or not so long ago, is still affecting you now. I want to help you figure out what’s going on and what might help you move forward. We can do that through talk therapy, EMDR, or Brainspotting, and we’ll go at your pace. My style is collaborative, authentic, and human. That means I’m not here to tell you what’s right or wrong or hand you endless homework. Instead, we’ll dig into what’s underneath the problem, understand how it got there, and work through it without judgment or moralizing. Unstuck Therapy is LGBTQIA+ affirming and neurodivergent affirming. I work with adults and teens 14+ in person in Anaheim Hills and online throughout California.
