BIO When your identity is built around achievement, performance, or doing everything "right," slipping up feels dangerous. Many of the teens and adults I work with come to therapy feeling burnt out from keeping up appearances while quietly carrying a heavy load—whether that’s struggling with food rules and body dissatisfaction, chronic anxiety, low mood, OCD cycles, or feeling lost during a major life change. As a Licensed Master Social Worker and former competitive athlete and coach, my primary passion and specialty is helping individuals navigate eating disorders, disordered eating, and body image stress. I understand firsthand how deeply our self-worth gets tangled in performance, physical control, and external expectations. My goal is to help you cultivate a peaceful relationship with your body and movement, while rediscovering who you truly are outside of performance. At the same time, life rarely happens in a vacuum. I frequently work with clients whose primary struggles are anxiety, depression, OCD, complex trauma, and phase-of-life transitions. Whether food and body are central to your story or you're seeking relief from intrusive thoughts and constant worry, I am here to support you. MY APPROACH Therapy should be a place where you can drop the heavy armor and just be human. My approach is warm, grounded, and deeply relational. I draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Radically Open DBT (RO-DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), ERP, and CBT to tailor our work to your specific needs: • Eating Disorders & Disordered Eating: Rebuilding trust with your body, breaking free from rigid rules, and finding peaceful recovery. • Anxiety, OCD & Intrusive Thoughts: Using practical, evidence-based tools (ERP/ACT) to step out of obsessive cycles and untangle worry. • Depression & Burnout: Reclaiming energy, self-compassion, and direction when feeling stuck or low. • Perfectionism & Athletic Identity: Unpacking the pressure to perform and navigating high-pressure school, sport, or career transitions. Healing isn't about becoming a perfect version of yourself—it’s about learning to trust the person you already are.
