I acknowledge that in today’s fast-paced world, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed, disconnected, uncertain, or unfulfilled. I use a collaborative, strengths-based approach to therapy and strive to create a warm, affirming, and inclusive environment for clients of all identities and life experiences. I especially enjoy working with high-achieving youth as well as children and adolescents navigating life and family system adjustments. I value authenticity, humor, and creativity in the therapy room. My passion is helping individuals find meaning and purpose in their lives, feel capable and heard, develop resilience, and find coping strategies that truly work for them. I enjoy incorporating expressive arts, movement, sand tray, values-based work, and play therapy techniques into sessions. I work with a wide range of clients and presenting issues including anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress, life adjustments, attachment concerns, and more. I provide counseling to children ages 5 and older, pre-teens, adolescents, and and adults for individual counseling as well as parents and families. I am located at MWR Counseling in Hiawatha. I'd love to meet you!
