Hi, I’m Lauren. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 13 years of experience providing trauma-focused, evidence-based care. I hold a Master’s Degree in International Disaster Psychology from the University of Denver, where I specialized in understanding trauma, resilience, and recovery in both individuals and communities. I have extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families through trauma-focused treatment in community-based outpatient and school settings. Throughout my career, I’ve helped clients navigate the effects of trauma, abuse, grief, medical challenges, life transitions, and relationship difficulties. I also have specialized expertise in working with individuals and communities in the aftermath of disasters and large-scale crises. In addition to my clinical work, I serve as a trainer for the Let’s Connect® parenting program and provide clinical supervision for LPC candidates—helping emerging counselors develop their skills, confidence, and professional identity within a supportive, structured environment. My passion is helping clients move from feeling stuck in the past toward building lives grounded in safety, connection, and hope. My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative, combining compassion with practical tools for meaningful change. Together, we’ll move at your pace and tailor therapy to your unique needs. Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and our two-year-old. You’ll often find us outdoors, taking in everything beautiful Colorado has to offer.
