Introduction

You are the expert on you. I bring clinical experience, practical tools, and collaborative support for your unique journey. You may have a sense of what you are capable of but have not yet had the opportunity, support, or tools to fully develop those parts of yourself. How do you move toward the life you prefer while strengthening confidence, peace, and trust in yourself? Who will support you as you make those changes? As a seasoned counselor, I can help you explore barriers affecting self-esteem, confidence, persistence, self-trust, and personal integrity—and begin building a foundation that feels solid and genuinely your own. I provide counseling through Well Being Transitions Counseling & Consulting Services (WBTCS), a practice of YOUR Community Counseling and Integrated Supports, PLLC. I am a licensed mental health counselor in North Carolina and Maryland and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist in North Carolina. My experience in community health and doula care also informs my understanding of the personal, family, health, and social transitions that can affect well-being. Our sessions begin and end with your goals. Together, we may draw from tools for managing stress, anger, trauma, and mood; strengthening communication and self-regulation; practicing self-care and acceptance; and developing healthier ways of coping. These are not simply techniques used during therapy. With practice, they can become lifelong skills that you refine, trust, and model for others. Whatever your background, identity, abilities, beliefs, or life experiences, you are welcome here. You do not need to share my background or worldview to be met with dignity, curiosity, and respect. Your sessions are intended to provide a calming, confidential, and nonjudgmental space where you can experiment with the ways you prefer to live and relate—learning to listen to your heart, mind, body, and values with greater trust and making adjustments that reduce distress and suffering. Thank you for considering me as part of your team. Welcome.
