Lauren Friedman

Behavioral health therapy Lauren M. Friedman, LICSW
Specialties: Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Adjustment Disorder, Parenting,

Introduction

My therapy practice offers a safe, compassionate space to navigate challenges, build resilience, and create meaningful change aligned with each client’s goals. With 20 years as a licensed social worker in Massachusetts—primarily as a School Adjustment Counselor in a local public high school—I’ve had the privilege of working with students, families, educators, and the wider community. I provide individual therapy for anxiety, depression, postpartum adjustment, and everyday stressors at home, work, school or in parenting. At the heart of this work is helping clients strengthen self-efficacy, overcome barriers, and define a more satisfying life on their own terms. Whether you're navigating a specific challenge, daily stress, life transitions, or simply looking for support, I'm here to listen and work together to develop solutions and new ways of relating to both the common and unexpected issues life throws our way.
