As a queer, multi-ethnic Mexican-Jewish therapist who grew up in the child welfare system, my work is deeply informed by lived experience. I know what it’s like to feel unseen, to navigate cultural and familial disconnection, and to rebuild a sense of belonging from the ground up. These experiences ground my belief that healing is both personal and political. We cannot separate individual pain from the systems that create and sustain it. My role is to hold space for your story while also naming the contexts that have shaped it, so you can begin to move from survival toward liberation. In our work together, I offer an affirming, trauma-informed space where you don’t have to explain the basics of who you are. I integrate DBT skills with intersectional feminist and humanistic frameworks to help you explore how identity, relationships, and systems impact your mental health. My work centers those navigating trauma, identity, and the chronic fatigue of surviving systems that weren’t built for us. Together, we focus on restoration, connection, and community.
