Hello! My name is Lauren Mock. I am a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with 9 years of experience supporting individuals across the lifespan. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, families, and individuals with developmental disabilities in a variety of settings, including residential care, inpatient treatment, private practice, and nonprofit organizations. My professional journey includes completing my internship working with sexual assault survivors, which deeply shaped my commitment to providing trauma-informed, empathetic care. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to explore their experiences. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lewis University and utilize evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Client-Centered therapy. I tailor my approach to meet each individual’s unique needs, helping clients navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, eating disorders, and relationship concerns. I believe in fostering self-awareness, resilience, and meaningful growth. Whether you are seeking healing, clarity, or new coping strategies, I am here to walk alongside you and support you in creating lasting, positive change.
