Introduction

Hi, I’m Lauren! I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Southern California and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, from Pepperdine University. I have long been drawn to people, their stories, and the complexity of the human experience. My clinical work reflects a natural inclination I’ve had throughout my life—to show up for others with presence, curiosity, and support during their most challenging moments. My Background & Focus: My experience ranges from behavioral therapy with children ages 3–9 to psychotherapy with adolescents and adults ages 13–65+. I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges that feel stuck or difficult to move through alone. I especially enjoy working with teens and young adults as they navigate identity, relationships, academic pressure, and the transition into adulthood—a season of life that deserves thoughtful support and guidance. I also have a strong foundation working with veterans and trauma survivors, which has deepened my understanding of how past experiences show up in the present and how to work through them with patience and care. This range of experience has made me adaptable, grounded, and prepared to meet each client where they are. My Approach: I take a relational approach first—the relationship we build is where the real work happens. From there, I draw from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and attachment-based approaches, all tailored to your unique needs. There are no cookie-cutter treatment plans or one-size-fits-all solutions—just a genuine, flexible, and collaborative process built around what works best for you. My Goal for You: My goal is simple—to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are. I’m here to support you through the hard moments, help you gain clarity on what’s been keeping you stuck, and walk alongside you as you find your footing. The right support can make a meaningful difference, and that process starts here.
