Lauren Silver, MS, LMHC, CPATP I am a licensed mental health counselor and originally studied in New York state and graduated with a Master of Science in mental health counseling in 2012 from Long Island University Westchester Campus. I received graduate and post graduate experience in college wellness centers, community mental health centers, substance abuse rehabilitation centers, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, psychiatric units and private practice in New York and Florida. I work with individual adults and specialize in mood disorders, anxiety and narcissistic abuse as well as working with a variety of other issues such as grief, burn out, moral injury, women's issues, peer issues, overall wellness and other concerns. I use an eclectic approach including psychodynamic and mindfulness-based techniques as well as person centered, parts work (with aspects of gestalt and IFS), solution focus techniques and CBT. I am an IPI (Integrative Psychiatry Institute) Psychedelic Assisted Therapy Provider. I am able to provide resources, therapy preparation and integration work and looking to integrate Ketamine Assisted Therapy dosing sessions through new and ongoing partnerships for KAP in the future. Psychedelics, including the "non-classic" Ketamine, are not for everyone yet for those appropriate for this medicine it can be a powerful tool that could aid in removing blocks to our self -growth, promote neuroplasticity, and assist in accessing the non-ordinary states for intuitive healing. Currently only Ketamine Assisted Therapy is available as an option for psychedelic assisted therapy in Florida. There are promising trials expanding access to other psychedelics such as Psilocybin (mushrooms), Ibogaine and MDMA. Psilocybin Assisted Therapy is available in a few states currently and I can facilitate with navigating a retreat, preparatory and integration sessions. I greatly look forward to helping you find your balance!
