Your brain can heal, like how muscles recover after a workout. _________________________________________ When collaborating with clients on their therapy goals, I see through the lenses of trauma, relational connections to others, as well as how the brain and body work together to consider many factors that make up a person and their experience. I utilize research-based, trauma-informed approaches that make tangible, transformational change. I am trained in EMDR & am IFS Informed (think of IFS like the characters in the InsideOut movies). During therapy, I also integrate attachment styles, self-compassion, mindfulness, communication & boundary skills. All of these approaches do not require you to re-tell all of the details of hurtful experiences. My own grief and therapy journey, as well as eight years of allied work with trafficking survivors through non-profit service led me here.
